Our cult-favourite Bloody Shiraz Gin is the perfect ingredient to use in a Gin Sour cocktail recipe. It's like an elevated version of a classic and it's bloody delicious. We call it...the Bloody Gin Sour...simple. It perfectly balances sweet fruit and spicy goodness, creating a superbly sweet and sour gin cocktail. Simply add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker then dry shake without ice. Then shake again with ice until frothy, and strain into a glass. Best served cold in a rocks glass, no garnish needed. This easy Gin Sour recipe is guaranteed to please with its sweet, frothy and delicious flavour. The textures, the flavours, the colour... it's just 10/10! This doubles as an aquafaba gin sour, just switch out the egg white.
BLOODY GIN SOUR INGREDIENTS
- 45mLÂ Bloody Shiraz Gin
- 30mL lemon juice
- 15mL sugar syrup [1:1]
- Dash of egg white or aquafaba (for a vegan gin sour)
METHOD
- Add all ingredients to a shaker
- Shake all ingredients without ice
- Shake again with ice
- Strain into a rocks glass over ice
