In 2026, we’re relaunching our Four Pillars of the Community program — offering five $5,000 grants to local organisations making a positive impact across sustainability, education, inclusion and Indigenous-led initiatives.
What We’re Offering
- 5 x $5,000 grants
- Projects must be completed within 12 months
- Open to eligible organisations in Healesville & Surrounds

Eligibility
You must:
- Operate within Healesville & surrounds (Preference for postcodes 3777, 3775, 3770)
- Have annual revenue under $500,000
- Hold DGR status (or be auspiced by a DGR entity)
What We Can’t Fund
- Religious or political projects
- Retrospective costs or debt repayment
- General fundraising appeals
- Projects duplicating existing local initiatives
KEY DATES

Who can apply?
Eligible organisations must operate within Healesville and surrounding areas, with preference given to postcodes 3777, 3775 and 3770.
Do we need to be a registered charity?
Yes. Applicants must either:
- Hold DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status, or
- Be auspiced by an organisation with DGR status.
Is there a size limit for organisations?
Yes. Your organisation must have annual revenue under $500,000.
Can individuals apply?
No. Grants are available to organisations only, not individuals.
What types of projects are eligible?
We’re looking to support projects aligned to one or more of the following focus areas: sustainability & environment, education & training, social & community Inclusion, indigenous-led or co-designed initiatives.
Does the project need to be new?
Not necessarily. Existing projects are eligible if the funding will support a clearly defined new phase or outcome.
How long do projects have to be completed?
Projects must be completed within 12 months of receiving the grant.
Can the grant be used for operational costs?
Only where those costs are directly tied to delivering the approved project.

Can we submit multiple applications?
No. Each organisation may submit one application only.
What happens if our application is incomplete?
Incomplete applications may not be assessed, so please ensure all sections are completed before submitting.
How are applications assessed?
Applications are reviewed by the Four Pillars team against:
- Alignment to the program focus areas
- Community impact
- Feasibility and clarity of the project plan
- Local relevance
When will successful applicants be notified?
Grant recipients will be notified by the end of April.
When is the grant paid?
Successful organisations will receive the $5,000 grant shortly after notification, subject to confirmation of details.
Do we need to report on how the funds are used?
Yes. Grant recipients will be asked to provide a short progress or completion update, outlining how the funds were used and the impact achieved.
Will we need to acknowledge Four Pillars publicly?
Acknowledgement is up to the discretion of each recipient.
