AFTER 2019 GIN PRODUCER OF THE YEAR, MORE IWSC GOLD IN 2020!

Do you still remember life back in November 2019? A time when planes filled the skies, drinkers filled the bars, people left the house and wearing a face mask in public was a very niche pursuit. Well, November 2019 will always have a special place in our hearts for another reason too. It was when Cameron got off a plane in London, headed straight to a black tie awards night and picked up the IWSC trophy for International Gin Producer of the Year.
So nobody loves the IWSC more than Four Pillars – and as the reigning International Gin Producer of the Year, we know those judges have impeccable taste! Now the results are in for this year’s IWSC awards, and once again, the Four Pillars family (and Australian producers in general) have proudly flown the flag for Australian gin.
GOLD FOR RARE DRY GIN & BLOODY SHIRAZ GIN
Four Pillars won gold medals for our two leading gins, Rare Dry Gin and Bloody Shiraz Gin. Plus another five of our gins collected high silvers, including our sensational Spiced Negroni and Navy Strength pair, our soon to be launched olive-fuelled gin, our delicious Sherry Cask Gin and a single cask barrel aged gin that hasn’t even been released yet. We are pumped.
We don’t normally enter Bloody Shiraz into awards as it’s difficult to find a category that fits, so it’s terrific that it has won its first ever gold medal at the world’s most prestigious show! Not a bad place to start.
Also it’s great to see that our Rare Dry Gin, our original and most important gin, continues to win gold medals – it has won at least one gold at a serious international spirits award every year since 2014, so that’s nice to keep the momentum going.
As we have said a few times before, Aussie spirits, especially gins, are pound-for-pound right now the best in the world and the 2020 IWSC further reinforces this. Thanks to the IWSC, and to all our friends around the world for their support. Cheers!
