We love you gin friends, and it seems the love is reciprocated. And not just by you, our gin family, but by the best judges of gin in the world too.

At 5.10am this morning we got the news… Four Pillars Gin from Healesville in Melbourne’s Yarra Valley has been named International Gin Producer of the Year at the IWSC in London for the second year in a row. That’s 2019 and 2020. 

And we want you to know that even though we are now the TWO TIME International Gin Producer of the Year we will never forget that you are the people who were with us in the beginning, the near-to-the-beginning, or even the very recent past.

We hope it gives you a kick to say you were there before Four Pillars REALLY hit the big time! And we promise that despite now being so famous (kinda), we will never allow anything to change our commitment to making the world’s most diverse, creative and delicious family of gins here in Healesville and to sharing it with all of you with passion, humour and good ice.  

It’s been a truly ridiculous year, you don’t need reminding of that, but we just want to say thanks to each and every one of you, for your support this year and years past.

We’d love you to celebrate with us in whatever way you can. So raise a glass of Four Pillars Gin today… a G&T, Bloody & Lemon, Ginger Mule, Martini, Negroni, Gimlet, Southside, on the rocks or straight from the bottle. No judgment from us. By god, we’ve had a few already this morning.

INTERNATIONAL WINE & SPIRITS COMPETITION 2020

And in case you don’t remember what this award we won is all about, it’s pretty simple. The International Wine and Spirits Competition is the world’s biggest, longest running, most authoritative and competitive drinks competition. The comp in its 51st year in 2020 and has more than 4000 entries from the world’s best distilleries, large and small.

In a ‘normal’ year the Producer of the Year trophies would be presented at a gala black tie dinner at Guildhall in London (Cam was wearing his kilt then, and for good luck was in it again this morning). This year the award ceremony was online, of course, and we virtually collected our award at 5.08am AEDST whilst sensibly distancing at a pre-breakfast viewing party in Healesville and Surry Hills. Kind of sums up the year doesn’t it?

So we are now the back-to-back, dual, two time International Gin Producer of the Year. That’s epic. That’s pretty incredible.

And we hope it has put a smile on your face as it has on ours.
